CCTV Camera Prices in Kenya (2026): WiFi, 4G Solar and Indoor Options

CCTV Camera Prices in Kenya (2026): WiFi, 4G Solar and Indoor Options

Security camera prices in Kenya have come down a lot in the last few years, and the range of options has gone up. Today you can secure a small shop for under KSh 3,000 or cover a farm with no WiFi at all for under KSh 10,000. Here is what cameras cost in 2026 and what each price point actually buys.

WiFi bulb and indoor cameras: KSh 2,500 to KSh 3,000

The bulb camera is the best value entry into home security. It screws into a normal socket, connects to your home WiFi, and records when it detects motion.

  • The YIOT WiFi PTZ bulb camera (KSh 2,500) is a 5MP camera with auto tracking and colour night vision.
  • The V380 bulb camera (KSh 2,700) is a 5MP dual lens with 1080p recording.
  • A nanny camera with a screen (KSh 3,000) gives you live video without a phone, popular for watching over kids and staff.

4G solar cameras: KSh 7,500 to KSh 15,000

If there is no WiFi at your gate, farm or plot, a 4G solar camera is the answer. It runs on a solar panel, records to a SIM card data plan, and sends alerts to your phone from anywhere.

  • The V380 GSM 4G camera (KSh 7,500) is a 4MP outdoor camera with motion tracking and night vision.
  • The V380 Pro dual WiFi solar camera (KSh 8,000) covers two angles with a 4MP+4MP PTZ head.
  • The V380 PRO 4G solar (KSh 9,000) is the standard farm and gate pick: 4MP HD, PTZ, SIM ready.
  • The UBOX 360 degree panoramic (KSh 15,000) is the top end, with dual lenses and full panorama detection.

Covert and mini cameras: KSh 4,500 to KSh 6,000

Pinhole and mini cameras are for discreet monitoring inside the house, shop or vehicle. They look like everyday objects and record to memory cards or the cloud.

  • A mini pinhole WiFi camera (KSh 4,500) records 1080p with audio and supports 128GB cards.
  • A 4G mini camera (KSh 6,000) runs up to 8 hours on battery with remote viewing through the StarEye app.

What changes the price

  • Resolution. 4MP and 5MP sensors cost more than 1080p and give sharper zoomed-in detail.
  • PTZ and tracking. Pan-tilt-zoom heads that follow motion add to the price but cover more ground.
  • Solar and 4G. The panel, battery and SIM module are the biggest cost jump, and worth it where there is no power or WiFi.
  • Storage. A quality 64GB card costs about KSh 2,500. Budget for it when pricing a full install.

Choosing the right camera

For a shop or home with WiFi, start with a bulb camera. For a gate, farm or site with no internet, go straight to 4G solar. For discreet indoor monitoring, pick a covert camera.
