Side Switch Flashlights

A side switch sits along the body of the torch, usually near the head, so you can turn it on and cycle through brightness modes with your thumb without changing your grip. It's the most common control layout on modern flashlights for exactly that reason.

Every torch on this page uses a side switch. Some pair it with a second switch at the tail end for extra control, see our dual switch flashlights if that's what you're after.
