Removes the need to remember to switch lights or appliances by hand, with a countdown mode that runs a one-off timed task, a heater for a set period, say, without disturbing the regular weekly schedule running alongside it.

Up to 16 on/off settings and 15 weekly pattern combinations give considerably more scheduling flexibility than a basic daily-repeat timer, useful for a circuit that genuinely needs a different pattern on different days rather than the same on/off times every day of the week.
