Product description

Klarus 18GT-40 battery

4000mAh capacity means longer runtime per charge in any compatible torch or headlamp before needing to swap cells mid-shift or mid-trip.

Protection is built in against overcharging, over-discharging and short circuits, which suits flashlights that don't manage that themselves, most consumer and mid-range lights fall into that category rather than having their own protection circuitry built into the light.

Specifications

  • 4000mAh capacity
  • Overcharge, over-discharge and short-circuit protection
  • Protected cell, standard flashlight compatibility

A solid pick for tactical flashlights, camping lights, security work and emergency backup lighting where runtime matters more than shaving off a few grams. The Klarus 18GT-36 is rated for a higher discharge current, suited to higher-drain Turbo modes.

Frequently asked questions

At 4000mAh, it's the highest capacity 18650 in this range, so it gives longer runtime per charge than lower-capacity cells before you need to swap or recharge it.
Yes, it has built-in protection against overcharging, over-discharging, and short circuits, which matters most for flashlights and headlamps that don't have their own protection circuitry.
One 18GT-40 battery per pack.
It's a standard-size protected 18650 cell (3.6V), so it fits any flashlight or headlamp designed for 18650 batteries. Worth double-checking your device's battery compartment length first, since a small number of lights are built only for unprotected cells and may not fit a protected one.
It supports up to 10A continuous discharge, enough for most flashlights' turbo or high modes. For lights with very high-drain turbo settings, the Klarus 18GT-36 elsewhere in this range trades some capacity for a higher discharge rating.
