Protected Batteries | Lumen Vault

A protected battery has a small circuit built into the cell that cuts power if it's overcharged, drained too low, or short-circuited, a real safety margin for everyday use in flashlights, headlamps, and general electronics. It's the safer default unless a specific device calls for an unprotected cell.

Every battery on this page includes this protection circuit. If you need a cell for a vape mod with its own regulation instead, see our vape batteries page, those are unprotected by design.
